Responsibilities:
- FE Mesh Model preparation in ANSYS Workbench, Hyper mesh, and ANSA.
- Perform structural calculation of handling, storage, transport, and operational load cases for wind turbine blade using ANSYS APDL and ANSYS Workbench.
- Perform contact modelling, static linear, modal, Harmonic analysis.
- Proficient in performing steady state and transient thermal analysis.
- Perform component structural & reliability assessments on major components of wind turbines to confirm their structural integrity.
- Perform analytical calculations of bolted/welded constructions.
- Understand MATLAB and python scripts and modify based on the requirements.
- Strong experience in writing analysis reports and certification reports.
- Ensuring timely and high-quality deliveries to our development projects.
Qualification & Work Experience:
- Bachelor's/masters degree in mechanical, Aerodynamics,
Civil or other relevant engineering discipline
- 7+ years of Working experience
- Well versed with basics of wind turbine performance and relevant climatic parameters
- Experience in Wind Turbine blade or other composite materials is preferred.
- Proficiency in FE tools like ANSYS APDL and ANSYS Workbench is a must. knowledge of MATLAB and python codes is added advantage.
- Expertise in providing design solutions for mechanical components through the utilization of finite element analysis (FEA).
- Exposure to International standards on safety and mechanical design.
