About the Opportunity:

Hirely is recruiting on behalf of one of our hiring partners for a remote
Software Engineer (Python + Docker)
opportunity supporting a frontier AI infrastructure project.

This project focuses on building production-quality backend systems, SaaS integrations, and AI evaluation infrastructure used to train and benchmark next-generation AI agents. You'll work on real engineering problems while using modern AI development tools to accelerate software delivery.

This is a short-term,
high-paying contractor engagement
with immediate onboarding. Engineers are expected to complete
at least one approved task per day
, with
each approved task paying $300
.

Responsibilities:

As part of the engineering team, you may:
- Build scalable backend applications using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Develop REST APIs, microservices,



and backend services that replicate real SaaS platforms including Slack, Notion, Jira, Gmail, Linear, and similar tools.
- Build, extend, and validate integrations and connectors for AI evaluation environments.
- Perform backend testing, debugging, QA validation, and connector verification.
- Create realistic engineering workflows and datasets used to train AI systems.
- Collaborate with distributed engineering teams while leveraging AI coding assistants such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex, or similar tools.
- Deliver high-quality engineering work that meets project milestones and quality standards.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of skilled backend software engineering experience.
- Strong Python development experience using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Experience building REST APIs, backend services, and scalable applications.
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Git, software testing, and modern development workflows.
- Experience using AI coding
