Job Summary

The ETP Manager /Sr. Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) systems to ensure compliance with statutory regulations, company policies, and industry standards. The role includes managing environmental operations, overseeing Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) operations, coordinating with regulatory authorities, promoting a strong safety culture, and ensuring sustainable manufacturing practices in an API/Chemical manufacturing facility.

Role & responsibilities
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and performance of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and related environmental systems.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including wastewater, air emissions, hazardous waste, and solid waste management.
- Implement and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and management systems.
- Conduct risk assessments, HAZOP studies, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and safety audits.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement corrective and preventive actions.




- Liaise with regulatory authorities such as the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) and other government agencies
- Support implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for safety and environmental performance.

Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety or a recognized EHS qualification.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in API, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing industries.
- Solid knowledge of ETP operations, hazardous waste management, environmental regulations, and pollution control systems.
- Proven experience in Liasoning with government and regulatory authorities.
