About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional Head of Software Development / VP Engineering to lead the design, development and delivery of next generation accounting and business software. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring expertise in C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET WebForms, AI application development, cloud technologies and engineering leadership.

Key Responsibilities





· Lead engineering teams while remaining hands-on with architecture, code reviews and critical development.

· Modernise legacy ASP.NET WebForms applications to contemporary .NET architectures.

· Drive AI-first product development using LLMs, AI agents, OCR and automation.

· Design scalable SaaS, microservices and cloud-native solutions.

· Implement engineering standards, CI/CD, DevOps and secure coding practices.

· Mentor developers and build a high-performance engineering culture.

Required Experience

· 15+ years of software development experience.

· 7+ years leading engineering teams.

· Expert in C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET WebForms, .NET Core/.NET.

· Experience building enterprise SaaS products.

· Strong experience with AI-powered applications using OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude or similar.

· Experience with SQL Server, REST APIs, Azure/AWS and DevOps.

Technical Skills

· C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core/.NET 8+, ASP.N
