The role will involve assisting in managing day-to-day financial activities and accounting ensuring compliance with local and international laws, supporting audit processes, and contributing to financial reporting and analysis.
Statutory Audit Management:
- Assist in statutory audits, ensuring timely responses to auditor queries and effective closure of audit findings.
- Prepare audit schedules, financial disclosures, and supporting documents for statutory audits.
- Assist in Implementing and maintaining robust internal controls to ensure compliance with financial policies and accounting standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors to resolve audit issues and assist in finalizing audited financial statements.
Direct Tax Management:
- Direct tax compliance, including corporate income tax, TDS/TCS related compliances.
- Preparing working of TDS & TCS on monthly basis and ensuring timely payment.
- Ensure detailed working and accurate & timely filing of TDS, TCS & SFT returns.
- Ensuring tax compliance for foreign remittances (i.e.
complying with Form 15CA/ 15CB requirements) in co-ordination with tax consultants.
- Assist in filing Income tax returns, tax audit reports and submissions for assessments and litigations.
- Working level knowledge of TDS, TCS, TRACES & Income tax compliances.
- Knowledge of Current Income Tax Act, 2025 will be an added advantage.
Financial Reporting and Month-End Close:
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closures and support in finance related automations.
- Prepare and assist in review of P&L;, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Monthly inventory provision working in co-ordination with logistics & store team.
- Co-ordination for Stock taking on a quarterly basis and report finalization.
- Working knowledge of Ind AS 116.
Preferred candidate profile
Qualified CA with minimum 3 - 4 years finance & accounting working experience, preferably in FMCG industry.
