Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie – North Indian to manage the North Indian kitchen section and ensure consistent quality, taste, presentation, hygiene, and timely food production.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare authentic North Indian dishes, gravies, curries, breads, tandoor items, and accompaniments.
- Manage daily operations of the assigned North Indian kitchen section.
- Ensure consistency in taste, portion size, presentation, and quality.
- Follow standardized recipes, SOPs, and food cost controls.
- Supervise and guide Commis Chefs and kitchen helpers.
- Plan daily mise en place and ensure ingredients are available before service.
- Maintain proper food storage and minimize wastage.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Monitor cooking temperatures and maintain proper food-handling practices.




- Coordinate with the Sous Chef/Head Chef for daily production and special requirements.
- Check the quality and freshness of raw materials.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations.
- Support menu development and suggest improvements to North Indian dishes.
- Ensure timely preparation and service during peak hours.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of North Indian cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Valuable knowledge of gravies, tandoor, breads, marinades, and Indian spices.
- Ability to manage a kitchen section independently.
- Good leadership and team-management skills.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong attention to taste, quality, and presentation.

Qualification
- Diploma/Certificate in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in North Indian cuisine.
