Job Overview

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Assistant Professor – Game Design (2D/3D) to join our academic team in Gurugram. The candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lectures, practical sessions, and mentoring students in 2D/3D game design, animation, and related creative technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and practical sessions on 2D and 3D Game Design.
- Teach concepts related to game development, game art, animation, modeling, texturing, and visual design.
- Develop course content, lesson plans, assignments, and practical projects.
- Guide and mentor students on academic and industry-oriented projects.
- Evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, presentations, and examinations.
- Stay updated with current trends, tools, and technologies in Game Design and Animation.




- Encourage students to develop creative and industry-relevant portfolios.
- Participate in curriculum development, academic activities, workshops, and events.
- Collaborate with other faculty members on academic and departmental initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have any of the following qualifications:
- B.Sc + M.Sc in Animation and Design
- BA in VFX and Animation
- B.Des + M.Des in Animation and Game Design

Required Skills
- Robust knowledge of 2D/3D Game Design and Animation.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and animation.
- Familiarity with relevant game design/animation software and tools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing creative talent.
- Ability to handle both theoretical and practical sessions.

Preferred
- Prior teaching/academic experience in Game Design, Animation, VFX, or related fields.
