o He/ She should be able to demonstrate a capability to be a one stop person for an update on the project, in a manner that is satisfactory to all the stakeholders, with proper analytics . An ability to handle multiple complex scenarios simultaneously.

o Template based implementation is essential. PMs with experience on older SAP systems tend to still use excel based templates. Solution manager based templates are more effective as they are used to automatically map functionality. This would be key as complexity increases and the landscape evolves.

o A keen interest in documentation of processes and adaptation of SAP provided processes would be desirable. Tools, techniques and metadata knowledge would be a good check.

o For professional services , domain knowledge would be critical.



Mapping the processes to the ERP package would be required i.e. portfolio management, client/opportunity management, project , engagement and service delivery, knowledge and resource management, sub contracting, service desk, billing etc.

o Understanding of concepts of reusable components for reuse, from across the organization and providing this information during relevant process steps ( e.g. during estimation ) .

o He/ She should be able to discuss management of non standard scenarios in business processes.

o Standard IT practices - requirements to implementation.

o Explain roll out effectively, contingency management, migration management, training, change management, governance etc.
