Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop dies, patterns, and related tooling as per product and process requirements.
- Prepare and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using appropriate CAD software.
- Apply GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles while preparing engineering drawings.
- Develop die and pattern designs considering manufacturability, quality, cost, and production requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Process Engineering, and other departments for successful implementation of new products.
- Review and optimize existing die and pattern designs to improve quality, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage and track the New Product Development (NPD) pipeline and portfolio.
- Support the successful launch of new products within defined timelines and quality standards.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of drawings, design data, and engineering records.
- Identify and resolve design-related issues during development and production.
- Ensure all designs comply with approved engineering standards and customer requirements.
- GD&T; knowledge is mandatory.
- 3D Modeling and 2D Drafting knowledge is mandatory.
- Robust knowledge of Die Design and Pattern Design.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and tooling requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of design standards, tolerances, and material specifications.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
