Role & responsibilities

We are urgently seeking a passionate, energetic, and experienced Primary Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching English and Humanities (History & Geography) to Grade 1 and 2 students, fostering a strong foundation in language skills, social awareness, and critical thinking using international teaching methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Design and execute engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with Cambridge/International curriculum standards.
- Subject Teaching: Deliver interactive lessons in English Language/Literature and foundational Humanities (basic concepts of History & Geography).
- Classroom Management: Maintain an inclusive, positive, and structured classroom environment conducive to learning and active participation.
- Assessment & Tracking: Conduct continuous formative and summative assessments to track student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Co-Curricular Support:



Organize and participate in school events, exhibitions, workshops, and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelors or Master’s degree in English, Humanities, History, or related fields (B.A / M.A).
- Professional Certification: ECCED (Early Childhood Care and Education)
- Experience: 2–3 years of teaching experience in a Cambridge or International Board (IB/IGCSE) school setting.

Key Skills & Competencies
- Subject Expertise: Robust command over English language skills (phonics, reading, creative writing) and introductory History/Geography topics suitable for primary grades.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence, patience, adaptability, and strong classroom presentation skills.
