Medical Insurance Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

Exp: 1 to 3 Years

Education: Diploma/ Graduate in Accounts/ Finance or related field

Qualified Experience:

· Fresher/ 1-2 years of experience in the relevant role

· Prior experience in healthcare domain will be an add advantage

Job Content: Liaison Officer between insurance companies and the institute, aiding in tasks relating to insurance advantages and communication with insurance companies regarding claims.

Key areas of responsibilities: Responsible for evaluating and validating insurance information to verify claims and process the necessary claims resolutions for patients in an efficient and effective manner.

Main Job Tasks:

· Manage business,



handling paperwork and insurance claims.

· Coordinate medical claims for various insurance companies/ TPAs by verifying insurance benefits for the patient.

· In principle, he/she should take care all credit patients; to guide, counsel and take care of patients during the hospital visit- from admission, during their stay and right through till the final discharge, counsel the patient pre-admissions about the financial aspects and also during the stay on a daily basis.

· Prepare cost estimates mainly for various out-patient and in-patient cases.

· Transporting accurate patient information and history

Educational Qualifications: Diploma/ Graduate in Accounts/ Finance or related field
