Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL), a 50:50 Joint Venture of Government of India and Government of Kerala incorporated for the implementation of the Kochi Metro Rail project and for its Operation & Maintenance. KMRL has been sanctioned with Phase II (JLN to Info Park) by Government of India covering approx. 11 km and having 11 stations.

KMRL intends to appoint a
General Manager (Signalling & Telecom)
on regular/deputation
OR
as
Chief Engineer (Signalling & Telecom)
on Re-employment basis primarily for looking after the Signalling & Telecom division of its projects. Accordingly, applications are invited from experienced, dynamic, project oriented, result driven and motivated persons having experience in execution of the large metro/railway projects.

A] Post: ONE (1)
(Either on Regular/Deputation or on Re-employment)

(i) On Regular/Deputation:
General Manager (Signalling & Telecom)





(ii)
On Re-employment:
Chief Engineer (Signalling & Telecom)

B] Type of employment/Recruitment

a) On Regular basis

OR

b) On Deputation – For a period of three years extendable further as per deputation terms.

OR

c) On Re-employment basis:
for an initial period of TWO Years

– to be further extendable for additional terms/ periods, or up to attaining the age of 65 years or maximum of 5 years from initial appointment, whichever is earlier, subject to consistent positive performance, conduct and requirement of Project/ discretion of Management

C] Educational Qualification

(i) For Regular Post
: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering from AICTE/ UGC recognized University/ Institute.

(ii) For Deputation Post
: Serving IRSSE officers of Indian Railways or its subsidiary sister concerns or B.E./ B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electronics & Commu
