1. Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
2. Handle
accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, journal entries, and ledger scrutiny
.
3. Prepare and review
monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
.
4. Handle
GST, TDS, income tax compliance
, and other statutory accounting requirements.
5. Perform
finalization of accounts
and assist in preparation of financial statements.
6. Review accounting work prepared by junior accountants and ensure accuracy.
7. Manage multiple client accounts and ensure timely delivery of work.
8. Communicate directly with clients regarding accounting, taxation, and financial matters.
9. Prepare MIS reports, management reports,
and financial analysis as required.
10. Monitor outstanding receivables/payables and support clients with cash-flow management.
11. Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and other external professionals.
12. Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve issues proactively.
13. Manage and mentor junior accounting team members.
14. Ensure compliance with applicable
Indian Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations
.
15. Improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting systems.
