Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize chemical synthesis routes for APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) using various techniques such as organic chemistry, solid-state chemistry, and process development.
- Conduct experiments under GLP guidelines to validate current processes and improve existing ones.
- Troubleshoot issues related to reaction kinetics, thermodynamics, and mass transfer during API synthesis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify research opportunities and prioritize projects based on business needs.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 2-6 years of experience in API synthesis or a related field.
- MS/M.Sc(Science) degree in Chemistry from a recognized university.
- Exposure inn handling hazardous chemicals safely according to industry standards.
