Role Description
The Bookkeeper at ZEBJUS LLP is a full time, remote role responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. Day-to-day tasks include recording transactions, posting journal entries, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, and assisting with the preparation of financial statements. The role involves working with accounting software to manage accounts payable and receivable, monitor cash flow, and support monthly and year-end closing activities.



The Bookkeeper will collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify financial data, respond to inquiries, and ensure compliance with established accounting procedures and deadlines.

Qualifications
- Strong bookkeeping skills, including accurate transaction recording and ledger management
- Experience with financial statements and basic financial analysis
- Proficiency with accounting software and general finance concepts
- Ability to prepare and post journal entries in accordance with accounting standards
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Good written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration
- Prior experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role preferred
- Relevant certification or coursework in accounting, finance, or a related field is an asset
