Roles & Responsibilities
- Translate video script content from Japanese to English with precision and cultural sensitivity
- Review and modify machine translation keeping the video sentence length intact
- Conduct thorough research when faced with unfamiliar terminology or industry-specific jargon to maintain accuracy in translations




- Demonstrate a deep understanding of Japanese and English languages and culture to ensure translations are contextually relevant and culturally appropriate
- Effectively coordinate with the team of editors for sentence length related issues
- Modify the translated text according to the machine voice recording length and support editors to achieve desired audio output length
- Work closely with other team members, editors, and subject matter experts to ensure accurate translations
- Be open to feedback and continuous improvement
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality translations
- Regularly review and update translation glossaries and style guides
