Role & responsibilities
- Monitor and implement infection prevention and control practices across all departments.
- Conduct regular infection control rounds and audits.
- Monitor hand hygiene, PPE usage, biomedical waste management, and environmental hygiene.
- Support surveillance and reporting of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).
- Conduct infection control training and awareness sessions for hospital staff.
- Maintain infection control records, reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with clinical and support departments regarding infection control issues.
- Assist in investigation and management of infection outbreaks.
- Ensure compliance with hospital infection control policies and applicable standards.
- Participate in infection control committee meetings and quality improvement initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile
- B.Sc Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant hospital experience.
- Experience in Infection Prevention & Control preferred.
- Valid nursing registration.
- Positive communication, observation, documentation, and analytical skills.
