We are looking for a highly proactive and result-oriented Credit Control Officer who understands the importance of timely payment collections, can perform strong and persistent follow-ups, and is versatile to visit customer locations whenever necessary to ensure payments are received on time. The candidate should take complete ownership of collections and contribute to maintaining healthy cash flow for the organization.

Role & responsibilities
- Monitor customer outstanding balances and ensure timely collection of payments.
- Follow up with customers regularly through calls, emails, and meetings to recover dues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure smooth payment cycles.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Dispatch, and Finance teams to resolve payment-related issues.
- Prepare and maintain ageing reports, collection status reports, and outstanding summaries.
- Ensure adherence to agreed credit terms and company credit policies.
- Identify payment risks and escalate overdue accounts to management in a timely manner.




- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing or invoice discrepancies.
- Negotiate payment commitments while maintaining positive business relationships.
- Take ownership of collection targets and ensure minimal overdue receivables.
- Visit customer locations whenever required to facilitate payment recovery and resolve collection issues.
- Maintain complete documentation and records of all collection activities.

Preferred candidate profile:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Credit Control, Collections, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of credit control processes, receivables management, and payment collection.
- Proven ability to achieve on-time payment collections through effective follow-ups.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Comfortable making frequent follow-up calls and handling difficult payment discussions professionally.
