Roles and Responsibilities :

Financial Accounting & Reporting:

1. Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including project cost tracking, asset capitalization, and revenue recognition.

2. Review Weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable standards (Ind AS).

3. Supervise month-end and year-end close processes.

4. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings.

5. Manage general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial audits.

6. Coordinate with statutory auditors and internal auditors.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

1. Lead budgeting processes, including cost estimation, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasting.

2. Monitor financial performance against KPIs and review the actionable insights.

Compliance and Risk Management

1. Ensure compliance with energy sector regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting standards

2. Implement and review internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks.

3. Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS,



and other statutory regulations.

4. Manage tax planning and assessments.

5. Liaise with tax authorities and consultants.

Investor & Stakeholder Reporting

1. Review of financial reports and presentations for investors, board members, and regulatory bodies.

2. Support due diligence and financial disclosures for fundraising

ERP & Systems Implementation

1. Lead implementation of financial systems and tools to support scalability and automation.

2. Integrate project management and finance systems for real-time tracking.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management

1. Manage cash flow planning and optimize working capital.

2. Oversee banking relationships, fund management, and debt servicing.

3. Monitor receivables and payables, especially for large infrastructure contracts.

Internal Controls & Risk Management

1. Implement and monitor robust internal financial controls.
