Job Purpose

To ensure timely, protected, and accurate delivery of breakfast and lunch meals from the centralized kitchen to the allotted Government schools, along with proper documentation at each delivery point.

Key Responsibilities
- Load meal containers/crates onto delivery vehicles as per the route plan and school-wise quantity sheet, verifying counts before dispatch.
- Accompany/coordinate delivery vehicles on assigned routes and ensure meals reach schools within the defined time window (before breakfast/lunch bell).
- Hand over meals at each school to the designated teacher/staff, obtain acknowledgement (delivery challan/register signature) confirming quantity and condition received.
- Collect empty containers/crates from the previous delivery and return them to the kitchen for washing and reuse.
- Report any shortages, spillage, vehicle breakdowns, or delays immediately to the Sr. Executive – Distribution.
- Maintain daily delivery records, mileage logs, and proof-of-delivery documentation for each school on the route.




- Ensure food containers are handled hygienically during loading, transit, and unloading, and that food temperature/quality is maintained till delivery.
- Coordinate with school staff/Head Masters for any change in student count, holidays, or special requirements.

Educational Qualification

Graduate in any discipline or equivalent; a valid driving license (LMV/commercial, as applicable) is an added advantage for route-in-charge roles.

Experience

0–2 years; fresher with good local route knowledge and willingness to travel are welcome. Prior experience in logistics, courier, or food delivery is an advantage.
