Job Description – ITI Welder

Position: ITI Welder
Location: Andal, West Bengal – CHP Plant
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month
Employment Type: Full-Time
Industry: Coal Handling Plant (CHP) / Industrial

Qualification
- ITI Welder certification is mandatory.
- NCVT/SCVT-certified candidates preferred.
- Candidates must have a valid ITI Welder certificate.
- Candidates with relevant industrial/CHP experience will be preferred.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fabrication work at the Coal Handling Plant.
- Carry out welding work on equipment, structures, pipelines, chutes, conveyors, and other plant components.
- Perform Arc/MIG welding as required.
- Ensure proper joint preparation, alignment, fit-up, and welding.
- Identify and rectify welding defects.
- Follow approved welding procedures and quality standards.
- Assist in maintenance and repair activities of CHP equipment.
- Operate and maintain welding machines, tools, and accessories safely.
- Follow all plant safety rules, PPE requirements, and work-permit procedures.




- Maintain proper housekeeping at the work area.
- Coordinate with supervisors, fitters, maintenance, and safety teams.
- Complete assigned work within the required time and quality standards.

Experience
- Freshers with mandatory ITI Welder certification may apply.
- Experience in CHP, power plant, steel plant, mining, fabrication, or industrial maintenance will be an advantage.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of welding techniques and equipment.
- Basic understanding of fabrication and maintenance work.
- Ability to work safely in an industrial/CHP setting.
- Knowledge of PPE and workplace safety procedures.
- Physically fit and willing to work at the plant site.

Salary

₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month, depending on experience and welding skill/test performance.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
