We are looking for a detail-oriented E-commerce Accountant to manage the accounting, reconciliation, taxation, and financial reporting for our online business across multiple marketplaces and sales channels. The ideal candidate should have experience handling high-volume e-commerce transactions and be proficient in accounting software and Excel.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarketplace Accounting
- Record sales from all marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Instamart, Myntra, Nykaa, etc.).
- Import and reconcile marketplace settlement reports.
- Match orders, invoices, collections, commissions, and payouts.
- Reconcile payment gateway collections (Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU, Shopify Payments, etc.).
- Account for COD collections and adjustments.

Sales & Reconciliation
- Daily reconciliation of:
- Orders
- Sales
- Returns
- Cancellations
- Refunds
- Replacements
- RTOs
- Identify discrepancies between ERP, marketplaces, and bank receipts.
- Coordinate with operations to resolve mismatches.

GST & Taxation
- Prepare monthly GST working.
- Reconcile GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B and books.




- Verify input tax credit (ITC).
- Handle GST on returns, credit notes, debit notes, and marketplace deductions.
- Assist in GST audits and notices.
- Prepare TDS workings where applicable.

Inventory Accounting
- Reconcile inventory between warehouse, ERP, and accounting books.
- Account for stock transfers, damages, shrinkage, and write-offs.
- Monitor COGS and inventory valuation.

Vendor & Expense Management
- Record purchase invoices.
- Process vendor payments.
- Reconcile supplier ledgers.
- Track outstanding payables and receivables.

Banking & Cash Flow
- Perform daily bank reconciliations.
- Record receipts and payments.
- Prepare weekly cash flow reports.
- Monitor cash position.

Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements.
- Prepare Balance Sheet schedules.
- Generate MIS reports.
- Track gross margin, contribution margin, and profitability by marketplace and SKU.
