We are seeking a agile and results-driven Manager - Syndication to independently lead fundraising deals, including IPOs, Pre-IPOs, and other primary or secondary fundraising transactions. This role requires a proactive approach to positioning deals for institutional investors and closing allocations from start to finish. You will own the deal from the initial meeting to the signed subscription, with your performance measured by the funds you close each quarter.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Fundraising Deals: Independently manage and lead fundraising transactions, ensuring successful positioning for institutional investors.
- Investor Engagement: Walk into meetings with AIFs, FPIs, PMS providers, and MFs, effectively communicating deal specifics and closing allocations on the spot.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a pipeline of 40+ qualified institutional investors, ensuring a robust network of AIFs, FPIs,
PMS providers, and MFs.
- Deal Positioning: Tailor each deal presentation to the specific fund being approached, focusing on IRR thesis, sector mandate fit, and valuation comparisons to peers.
- Meeting Leadership: Conduct a minimum of 15 institutional pitch meetings per month when deals are live, ensuring effective communication and follow-up.
- Closing Transactions: Convert Indications of Interest (IOIs) to signed subscriptions and payments, taking full ownership of the deal process.
- Research and Qualification: Research and qualify anchor/institutional investors for every fundraising mandate within five working days of briefing.
- CRM Management: Log every interaction in the CRM within 24 hours and submit a weekly pipeline report every Monday.
