This role is responsible for driving productivity, digitisation, process re-engineering and layout optimisation initiatives across the plant to reduce conversion cost, improve manpower utilisation, and enable scalable manufacturing practices through work content analysis and digital tools including Process Standardization & utilisation of Renewable Energy.

Role & responsibilities

1. Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives, focusing on manpower, layout and conversion cost.
2. Lead work content analysis (WCA), LCA studies and cycle time analysis for all key plant processes.
3. Benchmark manpower deployment and process cycle time across locations.
4. Drive layout modifications for lean flow of manpower, material and process.
5. Execute digital initiatives: FIFO traceability, rectifier efficiency, poke-yoke interlocks,



compressor monitoring.
6. Support CAPEX proposals for recent plant setups and productivity enhancements.
7. Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams on automation and cost-saving ideas.
8. Prepare and track labour, fuel and power budgets for the plant.
9. Standardise cycle times, manpower norms, and operator engagement types.
10. Ensure timely review and closure of all identified projects.

11. Initiate & co-ordinate Process Standardization & related improvements,

12. Identify the Renewable Energy source & coordinate till implementation.

13. Improvement of development and maintenance part in critical M/Cs.
