Responsibilities

1. Act as SPOC for the Architecture/Solution for end-to-end ecommerce ecosystem
2. Develop and maintain a comprehensive architecture strategy for our e-commerce platform, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends.
3. Define and enforce architectural principles, guidelines, and standards that support scalable, secure, and efficient e-commerce solutions.
4. Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for process improvements, automation, and the adoption of new technologies like AI, machine learning, and personalization engines
5. Communicate architectural strategies and decisions to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and buy-in
6. Ensure the e-commerce architecture supports high availability, performance, and scalability to meet business demands, especially during peak shopping periods
7. Implement best practices for security and data privacy, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)

Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation, including system diagrams, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications.
9. Establish and enforce governance processes for architectural changes, ensuring consistency and adherence to standards
10. Participate in scoping, estimating efforts, etc.
11. Contribute to white papers, blogs
12. Contribute to Pres-Sales Activities

Required Skills

1. 15+ Overall experience with 5+ experience in Architect or similar role in an e-commerce or digital commerce workplace
2. Experience implementing End-to End Solution in at least one project with multi-site/multi country
3. In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Kibo, Shopify, commercetools, Adobe commerce, Custom Implementation) and related technologies. Added advantage if worked on multiple commerce platforms.
