- Ensure high availability, reliability, and secure operation of GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) systems across all PSS facilities.
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance activities to maximize equipment performance and lifecycle.
- Monitor SF gas parameters, manage leak detection programs, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Lead fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions for GIS-related failures.
- Develop, review, and continuously improve GIS maintenance standards, procedures, SOPs, and best practices.
- Coordinate major overhauls, shutdown activities, testing, commissioning, and refurbishment of GIS equipment.
- Ensure adherence to statutory, OEM, and organizational safety standards during all maintenance activities.




- Analyze equipment performance data and recommend reliability improvement initiatives.
- Manage critical spares, maintenance records, inspection reports, and technical documentation related to GIS systems.
- Train, mentor, and develop engineers, supervisors, and technicians on GIS operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety practices.
- Collaborate with OEMs, contractors, and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve asset reliability.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing system availability, operational efficiency, and maintenance effectiveness.
