The Offshore Cementing Operator is responsible for executing cementing operations on offshore drilling rigs, ensuring well integrity and safety. The role involves operating cementing equipment, preparing slurry, and supporting well completion activities in compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cementing operations for oil & gas wells on offshore rigs
- Operate and maintain cementing equipment and pumping units
- Prepare and mix cement slurry as per job design
- Monitor pressure, flow rates, and job parameters during operations
- Ensure proper placement of cement to maintain well integrity
- Conduct equipment inspections and preventive maintenance
- Follow HSE (Health, Safety & Setting) guidelines strictly
- Maintain job logs, reports, and documentation
- Coordinate with drilling and well services teams
