Job Purpose

The Accountant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and financial activities of World of Mysorepak, including sales, purchases, expenses, cash and bank transactions, inventory accounting, vendor accounts, GST compliance, and financial reporting.

The candidate should ensure accurate and timely maintenance of accounts while supporting management with reliable financial information for business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Accounting
- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime / accounting software.
- Record sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, credit notes, and debit notes.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and supporting documents.
- Verify bills, invoices, receipts, and payment documents.
- Ensure all transactions are entered correctly and on time.

2. Sales & Retail Reconciliation




- Reconcile daily sales from retail outlets/POS systems with accounting records.
- Verify cash, UPI, card, online payment, and other collections.
- Identify and report differences in daily sales and collections.
- Maintain outlet-wise and channel-wise sales records.
- Monitor credit sales and customer outstanding balances.

3. Purchase & Vendor Accounts
- Verify purchase invoices against purchase orders/received goods.
- Maintain supplier and vendor ledgers.
- Track vendor outstanding payments and payment due dates.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with purchase and store teams regarding bills and stock receipts.

4. Inventory & Cost Accounting
- Maintain accounting records related to raw materials, packaging materials, finished products, and other inventory.
- Coordinate with the production/store team for stock records.
- Assist in periodic physical stock verification.
