Role Description
The News Intern role is an on-site internship located in Noida. Interns will support the news team by assisting with researching current events, gathering information from multiple sources, and helping draft news copies and scripts. Day-to-day tasks may include monitoring news wires and social media, helping with basic news writing, supporting broadcast preparations, and coordinating with reporters and producers. Interns may also assist in newsroom operations,
including organizing content, preparing schedules, and supporting live and recorded segments. This internship is designed to provide practical training in news writing, broadcasting processes, and professional communication within a newsroom setting.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in News Writing and Writing for digital, print, or broadcast formats.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written expression.
- Interest and basic understanding of Broadcasting processes and television news production.
- Ability to conduct thorough Research on current events, background stories, and sources.
- Enrollment in or recent completion of a program in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Attention to detail, ability to work under deadlines, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic familiarity with news ethics and standar
