Role summary

We are building an ambitious, quality-first food manufacturing operation in Ahmedabad across processed dairy and plant-based cheese, fresh cheese and high-protein products using ultrafiltration, and fermented beverages including kombucha.

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Executive - Quality Assurance & Food Safety to own day-to-day food-safety discipline, strengthen our Food Safety Management System, and help the plant build toward FSSAI compliance and international-standard systems such as HACCP, ISO 22000, and FSSC 22000.

This is a plant-floor ownership role, not a desk-only documentation position. The successful candidate will work closely with Production, R&D;, Procurement, Stores, and leadership, with access to experienced dairy, food R&D;, and plant-commissioning mentors.

Key responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the site's Food Safety Management System, SOPs, SSOPs, records, specifications, checklists, and document controls.
- Drive compliance with FSSAI requirements, Schedule 4, GMP, GHP, HACCP, hygiene, sanitation, allergen controls,



and internal quality standards.
- Monitor plant-floor practices including pre-operation checks, line clearance, personnel hygiene, process controls, CCPs/OPRPs, temperature and cold-chain controls, cleaning, sanitation, and CIP records.
- Review incoming raw-material and packaging quality, supplier documents, COAs, specifications, and traceability records; coordinate supplier-quality follow-up where required.
- Coordinate sampling and internal or third-party microbiological, chemical, water, and environmental testing; review results and escalate deviations.
- Investigate non-conformities and customer complaints using root-cause analysis; own corrective and preventive action tracking through effective closure.
- Maintain batch traceability and conduct mock recalls; support product hold/release and non-conforming product controls as per approved procedures.
