The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the

movement of goods to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries. The role involves

managing transporter relationships, coordinating dispatch schedules, ensuring seamless

warehouse pickups, and tracking shipments until successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

● Negotiate freight rates and commercial terms with transporters to optimise logistics

costs.

● Coordinate with transporters for vehicle availability and dispatch planning.

● Ensure timely placement of vehicles at the warehouse as per dispatch schedules.

● Schedule and monitor timely pickup of materials from the warehouse.





● Book cargo with transporters and follow up to ensure adherence to shipment

schedules.

● Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or transportation issues.

● Coordinate with the Warehouse, Sales, Purchase, and Accounts teams for smooth

dispatch operations.

● Ensure all transport-related documents are complete and accurately maintained.

● Develop and maintain robust relationships with transporters and logistics partners.

● Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable transportation regulations.
