To support the analysis and design of structural elements under the guidance of senior engineers, applying academic knowledge of structural principles and codal provisions to produce accurate, reliable design outputs, while building the technical and practical capabilities required to take on independent design responsibilities progressively.
Key Responsibilities:-
• Support the checking of VFC drawings and designs for compliance with applicable codes and standards under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to understand design challenges and explore appropriate options for resolving design issues.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical review comments and draft communications to consultants for senior review.
• Maintain work schedules and provide day-to-day technical support to senior engineers and the manager.
• Undertake quantity checks against budgeted indices prior to the issuance of drawings to site.
• Learn and adhere to established design review procedures, processes, and templates.
• Follow all applicable policies,
processes, guidelines, and prescribed norms while carrying out assigned responsibilities.
• Contribute to the organization and maintenance of project design review documentation, check prints, and consultant review comments.
• Participate in technical discussions and training sessions to strengthen technical knowledge and contribute effectively to the team.
Skills:
Basic structural analysis, willingness to learn, teamwork and coordination, awareness of cost and procurement fundamentals, and effective communication with Architects and MEP teams.
Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with M.Tech in Structural Engineering.
Experience:
6 months to 1 year of relevant experience.
Practice and Other Requirements:
Academic or project-level exposure to ETABS / STAAD.Pro / PROTECTED, with a strong foundation in structural design concepts and codal provisions, along with a willingness to develop h
