What success looks like in this role:
- Provides Software QA Engineering across multiple applications and system elements.
- Defines testing requirements.
- Contributes to architecture / design reviews.
- Designs, develops and executes test plans including performance testing.
- Develops, enhances and maintains well-formed and scalable test frameworks.
- Writes high quality documentation, identifying and recommending solutions to observed issues.
- Evaluates new feature impact on existing tests; evaluates feasibility of new feature testing.
- Identifies, recommends and implements process improvements to enhance testing strategies.
- Supports team members in writing of scripts, expected results, test results and defect descriptions.
- Prepares and estimates effort and timeline and prepares an overall test plan.
- Provides regular status update for self / team to lead / manager.
- Assists in creation of training / upskilling plan for less experienced resources.

You will be successful in this role if you have:
- BA/BS degree and 5+ years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Hands-on expertise in Playwright automation framework and test script development.
- Robust experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, API, and End-to-End testing.
- Proficient in SQL for database validation and data verification.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or equivalent.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and defect management processes.
- Ability to design and maintain scalable automation frameworks and improve test coverage.
- Strong stakeholder communication and mentoring skills.
- Banking or Financial Services domain knowledge preferred.
- Familiarity with DevOps, cloud-based testing environments, and containerized applications.
- Understanding of performance testing, security testing, and quality engineering practices.
