Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive CAD/CAM Engineer to join our engineering team in Mumbai, India. The successful candidate will lead the design, development, and integration of mechanical hardware and injection mold tooling.

This role requires a candidate capable of working independently to execute end-to-end mechanical design tasks, seamlessly integrate electronic components into physical form factors, and deliver manufacturable production assets using various CAD/CAM software platforms.

Key Responsibilities

● Hardware Design & Development: Execute end-to-end mechanical and hardware form factor design, from initial conceptualization to manufacturing release.

● Electronics Integration: Design mechanical enclosures and physical architecture that integrate electronic components, Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), connectors, and thermal management systems into functional form factor designs.

● Injection Mold Design: Develop complete injection mold designs, including parting line determination, core and cavity creation, draft angle analysis,



and gating system design, ensuring Design for Manufacturability (DFM).

● CAD/CAM Modeling & Tooling: Utilize multiple standard CAD/CAM software packages to generate 3D solid models, high-precision surface models, standard 2D manufacturing drawings, and CAM toolpaths.

● Project Ownership: Manage project timelines, proactively identify engineering constraints, and solve complex design challenges independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements and QualificationsEducation & Experience

● Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech or equivalent).

● Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of qualified engineering experience in CAD/CAM design and hardware development.

Technical Skills

● Software Proficiency: High proficiency across multiple mainstream CAD/CAM software platforms (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Fusion 360 / Inventor, PTC Creo, Siemens NX, or Mastercam).
