About the Role

We're looking for a Retention Marketer to own CRM and lifecycle marketing end-to-end for our B2C fintech app. You'll be responsible for the full user journey including onboarding, activation, habit formation, and reactivation across push, WhatsApp, email, SMS, and RCS on WebEngage. This is a high-ownership role for someone who treats CRM as a growth lever, not a support function.

What You'll Do
- Own and scale the CRM function on WebEngage including journeys, segmentation, cohorts, triggers, and governance.
- Design structured lifecycle journeys covering onboarding, habit formation, and reactivation across push, WhatsApp, email, SMS, and RCS.
- Run a high-volume experimentation cadence: A/B test copy, timing, frequency, and segmentation to continuously improve CTR, conversion, and repeat transactions.
- Identify drop-off points through funnel and cohort analysis, and build multi-channel interventions to reduce churn.
- Build and manage referral and gamification programs (quizzes, spin-the-wheel, mini-games) with accurate segmentation and incentive design.




- Define and maintain CRM governance: who sends what, when, and to whom — bringing discipline and consistency to campaign execution.
- Use AI tools daily to automate repetitive workflows, speed up campaign ideation, and build processes that scale over time.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, growth, and design to align lifecycle campaigns with business goals.

What We're Looking For
- 2-4 years of experience in CRM, lifecycle, or retention marketing, ideally in a B2C app or fintech environment.
- Hands-on experience with WebEngage or a comparable CRM/marketing automation platform (MoEngage, CleverTap, NetCore etc.).
- Working knowledge of push, WhatsApp Business API, email, SMS, and/or RCS campaign execution.
- Comfort with segmentation, cohort analysis, and trigger-based automation.
