Roles and Responsibility
- Assist the head chef in planning and preparing high-quality bakery items.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen setting, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Prepare and cook a variety of bakery products, including bread, pastries, and desserts.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Develop new recipes and menus to keep up with culinary trends.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bakery Commi or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of bakery ingredients, techniques, and equipment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
- Culinary certification or relevant training is an asset.
