Role Description
The Social Media Marketing Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing SPNG’s social media presence across multiple platforms. This role includes developing and implementing social media campaigns, creating and scheduling content, and managing day-to-day posting and community engagement. The Social Media Marketing Manager will monitor performance metrics, analyze audience insights, and adjust strategies to increase reach, engagement, and conversions.



The role also involves collaborating with content creators and product teams, maintaining a consistent brand voice, and staying current with trends in African culture, edtech, and digital marketing. The individual will be expected to manage social media calendars, respond to messages and comments, and support growth initiatives that strengthen SPNG’s online community.

Qualifications
- Robust skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) to manage campaigns and grow online communities.
- Proficiency in Content Strategy and Digital Marketing to plan, execute, and measure multi-channel initiatives.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear written communication and the ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences.
- Experience with social media analytics tools and basic data analysis to track KPIs and optimize performance.
