Position Purpose
We seek a seasoned sr. Java Developer with extensive Java expertise and a solid grasp of modern software‑development methodologies. sr. Java Developer will own the full SDLC—from requirements definition through deployment—partnering with cross‑functional teams to ensure on‑time, quality delivery. Core duties include:
- Driving technical initiatives within the business vertical
- Anticipating and resolving complex technical challenges, providing guidance, and taking overall ownership of solutions.
- Operating in a globally distributed environment and serving as the go‑to technical authority, while fostering a collaborative “first‑among‑equals” culture.
The ideal candidate combines deep Java knowledge with solid leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills, and thrives in a multi‑regional, interdisciplinary setting.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
- Lead software development projects from inception to deployment, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Handle and lead development/design projects
- Works as technical team lead and cross teams for technical/functional solution.
- Establish regular code reviews tied to on-going components / projects development
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to ensure that project requirements are clearly defined and understood.
- Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards, and that all project documentation is complete and up-to-date.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management, and provide regular project status reports.
