We are seeking a detail-oriented Actuarial Analyst to support pricing, risk assessment, and product development for our US home insurance portfolio. In this role, you will leverage data-driven insights to drive strategic decisions, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements to strengthen our market position and product performance.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
• Develop and maintain pricing models for US home insurance products to ensure competitive and profitable rates.
• Analyze large datasets to identify loss trends, risk patterns, and emerging exposures.
• Support reserving activities including loss development analysis and financial adequacy checks.
• Assist in regulatory rate filings and documentation as per state insurance requirements.
• Collaborate with product, underwriting, and finance teams to enhance product performance.
• Contribute to predictive modeling initiatives using statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Build automated actuarial tools, dashboards, and reports for internal stakeholders.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in actuarial models and pricing assumptions.
• Prepare and present actuarial findings to management and non-technical stakeholders.• Work on risk segmentation and profitability analysis to support business decisions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor analysis.
• Support the development of current product features, rating plans, and insurance programs.
• Maintain actuarial exam progress (ASA/ACAS preferred) with company-provided study support.
