You will join our PI Historian team, an integral part of the Automation and IT organization in NNE, collaborating closely with colleagues in Denmark and the US. Within the Manufacturing Intelligence department, we have built a highly skilled and passionate team working on interdisciplinary projects in the pharmaceutical industry. Our projects range from feasibility studies and concept designs to the handover of fully operational facilities, spanning large greenfield projects to medium-sized revamp and digitalization initiatives.
How you might spend your days (Main Roles & Responsibilities):
As a Senior PI Engineer, you’ll be working with a energetic, multi-disciplinary team where your daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Install, configure, and maintain PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework, and various PI Interfaces (e.g., PI 800xA, PI Batch Interface, PI to PAS-X Interface, PI BMI Interface , PI RDBMS Interface).
- Configure and validate PI interfaces for integration with automation and IT systems.
- Function as the Project Subject Matter Expert (SME) for protocol review and validation.
- Execute and document validation protocols (IV/OV, IQ/PQ/OQ, FAT/UAT) to ensure compliance.
- Troubleshoot and optimize PI system performance, including interface connectivity and data flow.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in Denmark and the US to deliver project milestones.
- Leverage TIMS/HP-ALM/Testing tool for test management and documentation.
