- Installation and Configuration: WebLogic Admins are responsible for installing and configuring WebLogic Server software on servers or virtual machines
- They set up domain configurations, including configuring server instances, clusters, data sources, security settings, and other required resources
- Application Deployment: WebLogic Admins handle the deployment of web applications and components on WebLogic Server
- They package and deploy applications using deployment tools, manage application lifecycles, and ensure proper configuration and dependencies are met for successful deployment
- Server Administration: WebLogic Admins perform routine server administration tasks, such as starting, stopping, and restarting server instances, managing server logs, and monitoring server performance
- They monitor resource utilization, analyze server metrics, and optimize server configurations for improved performance and scalability
- Security Management:



WebLogic Admins handle security configurations and management for WebLogic Server
- They configure user authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls
- They enforce security policies, manage SSL certificates, and implement secure communication protocols
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: WebLogic Admins monitor the health and performance of WebLogic Server instances using monitoring tools and diagnostic logs
- They identify and troubleshoot issues, analyze log files, and diagnose performance bottlenecks
- They take proactive measures to address issues and optimize server performance
