Position Title: Accounts Manager
Location: StockDaddy HO

Reporting To: Founder directly

Purpose of the Role: To oversee and manage the accounting, financial planning, taxation, and overall financial health of StockDaddy. The incumbent will play a critical role in decision-making, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing financial processes, and supporting strategic business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Reporting:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L; reports.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

Taxation:
- Manage GST, TDS, and income tax compliance.
- Handle tax audits and liaise with tax authorities.
- Optimize tax planning strategies.

Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Conduct variance analysis and suggest corrective actions.
- Advise on cost control and profitability improvement.

Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.




- Supervise internal and external audits.

Team Management:
- Mentor and guide the finance and accounting team.
- Enhance team productivity through productive delegation and training.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost and Management Accountant (CMA), or MBA in Finance.

Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years in accounting, finance, taxation, and financial planning in corporates.
- Prior experience in a managerial role is a must.

Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation laws.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP) and advanced Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
