We’re on a mission: deliver foundational Customer Data Platform (CDP) use cases in 45 days. Our approach is quick, structured, and ruthless about quality. Data only matters if it’s trusted, modeled, and usable — and that’s where you come in.

We’re looking for a Warehouse Engineer to join our team and be the one turning raw Segment event streams into validated, queryable, business-ready data in Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift. If Segment is the nervous system, you’re the one making sure the signals translate into something the brain (the business) can actually use.

This isn’t a back-office role. You’ll be client-facing, responsible for showing customers how their warehouse lights up when Segment goes live.

What You’ll Do
- Model events into truth → Define tables, views, and materialized models that make sense for analytics and activation.
- Validate the flow → From Source → Segment → Warehouse → BI, ensure every event, trait, and property shows up as expected.
- Prove value fast → Build a demo-grade dashboard that confirms CDP ROI in the first 45 days.




- Own QA → Detect schema drift, null explosions, PII leakage, and fix them before clients notice.
- Partner with others → Work with Solutions Architect, Integration Engineer, and Data Gov to align on definitions, naming conventions, and governance rules.
- Document and teach → Create SQL snippets, warehouse runbooks, and data dictionaries that clients can actually use after handoff.

Key Responsibilities
- Spin up models using dbt (or equivalent) to standardize Segment events.
- Run daily validation queries in Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift.
- Collaborate with Engagement Lead on status notes: highlight data health, schema issues, and fixes.
- Deliver a “Day 45 demo” in Looker, Tableau, or Mode — minimal, but proof of value.
- Keep Trello/Jira cards up to date with warehouse progress, blockers, and QA notes.
