Role & responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) audits.
- Evaluate compliance with applicable EHS laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Assess and improve Process Safety Management (PSM) and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
- Perform workplace inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
- Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop audit reports with actionable recommendations and track closure of observations.
- Design and deliver safety training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
- Evaluate emergency preparedness plans, conduct mock drills, and recommend improvements.
- Support clients in implementing best practices for occupational health and process safety.
- Coordinate with plant leadership to drive continuous improvement in safety performance.

Preferred candidate profile




- Strong knowledge of EHS legislation and statutory compliance.
- Audit planning, execution, and reporting.
- Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA/JSA).
- Incident Investigation & Root Cause Analysis.
- Emergency Response Planning.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Industry Experience : Candidates with experience in one or more of the following industries are preferred: Chemical /Pharmaceutical /Steel /Paint /Cement /Electronics/Automobile
