Job Summary

The MEP Tendering & Estimation Engineer will be responsible for handling tendering and estimation activities for MEP works in commercial interior fit-out projects. The role involves reviewing tender documents and drawings, preparing quantity take-offs and cost estimates, obtaining and evaluating vendor and subcontractor quotations, conducting rate analysis, and supporting the preparation of competitive and technically compliant bids. The candidate will work closely with the Tender, Design, Procurement, and Project teams to ensure accurate estimation and timely submission of tenders.

Key Responsibilities

Tendering & Bid Management
- Handle MEP tendering activities for commercial interior fit-out projects.
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and client requirements.
- Prepare detailed MEP estimates and bid summaries.
- Identify scope gaps, discrepancies,



and technical requirements in tender documents.
- Prepare tender queries, assumptions, exclusions, and clarifications.
- Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Business Development, and Project teams during the tendering process.
- Ensure timely completion and submission of tender deliverables.

Estimation & Costing
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, BMS, and other MEP services.
- Carry out accurate quantity take-offs from drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
- Prepare rate analysis for MEP materials, labour, installation, and subcontracting works.
- Develop item-wise cost estimates based on project scope and specifications.
- Analyze material, labour, subcontractor, and installation costs.
- Maintain and update estimation databases, historical project rates, and cost benchmarks.
