About the Role
We are looking for a passionate, disciplined, and creative Carnatic Music teacher to join our online arts institution full time. The role includes both vocal/music instruction responsibilities and active involvement in developing educational content, audio-visual study materials, and structured learning frameworks for students across different levels.
The ideal candidate should have strong practical and theoretical knowledge of Carnatic Music, excellent pitch (*sruti*) and rhythm (*tala*) control, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage students effectively in an online learning environment.
Work Structure
- 4–5 hours daily: Dedicated online live teaching sessions
- Remaining hours: Curriculum design, audio/study material preparation, and academic support activities

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching Responsibilities
- Conduct online Carnatic Music classes for children and adults
- Teach students across beginner,



intermediate, and advanced levels (from basic *Varisas* to *Kritis*, *Manodharma*, and concert repertoire)
- Maintain vocal discipline, pitch accuracy, rhythmic clarity, and student engagement
- Provide precise vocal/musical corrections, guidance, and constructive feedback
- Guide students in practice routines, performance preparation, and music examinations
- Coordinate with academic and operations teams regarding attendance and student progress

Requirements
- Strong formal training in Carnatic Music with practical teaching experience
- Ability to teach online confidently and professionally with high-quality audio setup
- Good communication skills in English (additional regional languages are a plus)
- Basic technical knowledge for handling Zoom/Google Meet, digital tanpura apps, and online teaching tools
