As a Senior Product Configuration Engineer, you will be an individual contributor working with a team that supports design automation across Mining products, including Proposal and Pricing documents, as well as product optimisation*.*

Your responsibilities
- You will be responsible for designing developing product models in Tacton Configurator Studio
- Mapping the product models using Tacton Design Automation for SolidWorks.
- Supports the maintenance and improvement of the existing tacton product models
- Provide technical assistance to the team on design automation (3D model / 2D Drawing)
- Interact with the on-site product team counterpart to clarify product design.
- Ensure compliance with specification requirements.
- Timely review of the drawings developed by the draftsman engineers.
- Reviewing the new BOM comparing it with the existing product configuration.
- Define the design automation required for the project/product and communicate with the team member.
- Delegate the tasks within the team and update the status to the team lead.
- Maintain the productivity and efficiency of the team.
- Ensure error-free documentation from designers engineers with adherence to guidelines defined on design automation.
- Highlight any delays in inputs or progress to the management and provide mitigation plans to minimise the delays.
- Identify CTO and ETO processes and automate the product configuration.
- Ensure all the preliminary activities are covered in the design automation phase from the CTO and CPQ perspectives.
- Confirm the smooth transition between CPQ and enovia.
What you bring
- 4 to 6 years of Hands-on experience with Tacton modelling. (mandatory)
- 8 to 12 years of Hands-on experience in Part modelling, assembly, and Drawings (Solidworks mandatory)
