Job Responsibilities
- Supervise daily fettling and finishing activities.
- Plan and allocate work to fettling operators.
- Remove runners, risers, gates, fins, and excess metal from castings.
- Ensure proper grinding, chipping, shot blasting, and finishing of castings.
- Check castings for visible defects during the fettling process.
- Ensure castings are finished as per customer and drawing requirements.
- Monitor production targets, rejection, and rework.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality departments.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of fettling machines and tools.
- Follow safety procedures and ensure workers use PPE.
- Maintain good housekeeping in the fettling area.
- Train and guide workers on proper fettling methods.




- Maintain daily production and quality records.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma – Mechanical / Foundry preferred

Experience

3–7 years of experience in foundry fettling or finishing operations.

Skills
- Knowledge of casting and fettling processes
- Grinding and cutting operations
- Casting defect identification
- Team supervision
- Production planning
- Quality and safety awareness

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
