Job Summary: -
Experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake and DBT. Nice to have the experience with data modelling concepts and modern cloud data platforms. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data solutions that support enterprise analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowflake and dbt.
- Build modular, reusable, and maintainable dbt models following industry best practices.
- Optimize Snowflake performance through query tuning, clustering, partitioning, and caching techniques.
- Implement and manage Snowflake objects including databases, schemas, tables, views, stages, streams, and tasks.
- Create reusable dbt macros and leverage Jinja templating for automation and code standardization.
- Develop and maintain data quality checks, schema tests, and validation frameworks in dbt.
- Able to design dimensional data models.




- Added if knowledge having Built orchestration workflows using tools such as Airflow, dbt Cloud.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, architects, and product owners to gather and translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline failures, performance bottlenecks, and data quality issues.

Required Technical Skills
- Data Engineering experience.
- hands-on Snowflake experience.
- hands-on dbt Core or dbt Cloud experience.
- Strong SQL and query optimization skills.
- Experience with:
- Snowflake Streams, Tasks, Snowpipe, Time Travel, Cloning
- Incremental loading strategies
- Materializations, Snapshots, Seeds, Tests, and Documentation in dbt
- Git and CI/CD practices

Soft Skills
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and conducting code reviews.
