Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve application and data-related issues in a timely manner
- Write, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries
- Perform accurate data corrections with proper validation and quality checks
- Troubleshoot production issues using logs, monitoring tools, and available diagnostics
- Analyze system workflows and conduct impact analysis for changes or incidents
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation, including ticket updates and resolution notes
- Collaborate effectively with Engineering, QA, and Product teams to resolve issues
- Take end-to-end ownership of assigned tasks and ensure proper closure
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have Skills
- Strong proficiency in SQL (complex joins, debugging, optimization)
- Experience in Application Support / TechOps / Data Support roles
- Solid understanding of system logic, APIs, and data flows
- Robust analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail with a self-driven work approach
- Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis, validation, and reporting
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience in production support environments and incident handling
- Familiarity with log analysis and monitoring tools
- Knowledge of data validation techniques and data integrity checks
- Experience handling large datasets and SQL performance tuning
- Basic understanding of API debugging and system integrations
- Exposure to cloud platforms (preferably Azure) focusing on data and application services
- Experience with ticketing tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, etc.
- Exposure to structured support processes and SLA-driven environments
